Fendi - Menswear collection Autumn/Winter 2017/18 in Milan (with interview)

Designer : Silvia Fendi VenturiniCollection : Inspirations and multiple references at Fendi, with a collection anchored in its time. A sport influence with technical materials and strips which highlight the clothes.+ Optimistic words imprinted as slogans on the blousons and coats + The Fendi logo is reinterpreted and becomes a patch in silicone and in a pop art version for the prints+ The fur is of course present to heat the neck, the sleeves of the coat cape, or all over.+ The nylon or jersey trousers, the cycling jumpers with high necks, and zips give a dynamic and athletic look to the silhouetteTo note : the slip on shoes (trainers and loafers)The accessories both functional and fun (the backpack with its incorporated seat or the new pop art camera case) and the head band on the forehead. Interview with Silvia Venturini Fendi : It’s a collection that contains a lot of references We see it through the words which seem to be banal, and very simple, but which are in fact universal words like 'hope', 'love', 'listen', 'try'. These are the words which can really help us to think of the years to come with a certain sense of friendship, and optimism, and I think these are pieces of advice that are very important everywhere given that it is a global collection which will be sold round the whole world.There are details which come from sport, cycling, but also from snow sports, because I really think that the playful life and the professional life are going to be brought together.
