Wolford restructures UK management team

Austrian-based hosiery brand Wolford announced that Angela Blundell, Managing Director for the UK and Ireland, departed from the company at the end of last year, and consequently, that a new management structure for the UK subsidiary has been developed.

The Austrian manufacturer of world-class hosiery, lingerie and bodywear has split the responsibilities for the wholesale and retail business and appointed Helga Meersmans, current Market Director Benelux, to take over the responsibility for all its wholesale clients.

Additionally, Gustavo Prestes, who joined Wolford in November last year, has been named Head of Retail for the UK and Ireland.

In December, Wolford reached an agreement with Ashish Sensarma to extend his position as CEO until April 30, 2018. Sensarma has been Chief Executive Officer since January 2015.
