Victoria's Secret opens five-floor flagship in Hong Kong

Victoria’s Secret has opened its first flagship in Hong Kong, in the heart of Causeway Bay. 

 
The 50,000-square-foot store holds the brand’s full assortment of lingerie and womenswear, including collections like Body by Victoria, Very Sexy, and Cotton lingerie as well as Victoria Sport. Victoria’s Secret Pink collection and line of accessories are equally available. 
 
The flagship store is the first in the area to offer all products, unlike the other stores in Hong Kong.

The store design follows Victoria’s Secret typical feel and formula including a spiral staircase, custom chandeliers and LED video screens promoting the Victoria’s Secret fashion show.
 
As part of the opening festivities, Victoria’s Secret Angels, Josephine Skriver, 25, and Martha Hunt, 29, were at the Hong Kong flagship opening. 
 
The well-known lingerie brand is currently facing troubling times. In June, Victoria’s Secret sales fell by 1 percent. 
 
It would appear that the e-tail boom and increased competition from Amazon and teen retailer Aerie by American Eagle, are what’s threatening the company. What’s more, women’s tastes are evolving and Victoria’s Secret marketing is becoming a thing of the past.
