Valmont Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week: 2020 schedule features Marchesa & Monique Lhuillier

Valmont Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, which is set to host its 30th edition on 20-26 April at Fira de Barcelona- Montjuïc, expects visitor numbers to reach 23,000 this year, surpassing last year’s mark.

The bridalwear trade event said 90% of the exhibition space has already been booked. The brand lineup will feature more than 430 brands, with 74% coming from abroad. In total, 34 countries will be represented at the show.

The catwalk schedule will see more than 30 labels unveil their 2021 bridal collections. Confirmed names include Pronovias Group, Rosa Clará, Jesús Peiró, Yolancris, The Atelier by Jimmy Choo, Demetrios and Cymbeline, among others.

A series of brands will make their debut at the show this season, such as Monique Lhuillier, Jenny Packham, Pnina Tornai, Elisabetta Polignano, Alon Livné, Pol Nuñez, Victor Bellaish, Immaclé and Madi Lane.

Rosa Clará, a bridal powerhouse in Spain, will stage a 2021 runway show to celebrate its 25th anniversary.

Pronovias Group increases its presence

Pronovias is increasing its presence at the trade fair by bringing three of its brands: White One will present a collection designed by American designer Zac Posen, St. Patrick joins the show with a 2021 collection designed by its new designer Riccardo Serravalle, and Pronovias plans to unveil a collaboration with a well-known brand.

The Atelier Pronovias runway show, held as part of Valmont Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week in previous years, will take place in March. All eyes will be on the brand’s new artistic director Alessandra Rinaudo and her first collection for the bridal fashion brand.

Visitors to Valmont Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week can enjoy four days of fashion shows on 20-24 April, and from 24-26 April, a trade fair will provide a platform for exhibitors and buyers to connect, explore new business opportunities and get new leads.
