Quiz launches curated collection with Love Island star

Quiz Clothing may have faced major challenges this year due to the pandemic, but the company is continuing to launch attention-grabbing collab collections and the latest is with Love Island’s Joanna Chimonides.

The new Q x Joanna is a 35-piece curated collection fronted by the Love Island contestant that “brings together the brand’s ultimate AW20 ‘must-have’ items, from statement dresses and double-breasted tailored jackets to playful bodysuits, classic co-ords and much more,” we’re told.

Chimonides was a contestant on season five of ITV’s Love Island, with the show’s stars having proved their marketing value to a wide number of fashion and beauty brands. Since leaving the show in 2019, the recruitment consultant from London has reinvented herself as a podcast presenter, co-hosting BBC Radio 1’s Reality Tea Podcast.

While fashion may have been a low priority for many consumers for much of this year, the return to some sort of normality and the run-up to Christmas has raised hopes among fashion retailers that shoppers will want to get back out and will have a need to buy ‘going-out’ fashion pieces again.

Signs are that young Britons are actively socialising once more, even if older Britons are more cautious.
