New Zealand readies for H&M, Zara & Tiffany's debut in 2016

Published
Apr 26, 2016

2016 will see New Zealand open its doors to European retail giants Zara and H&M, as well as US retail jewellery chain, Tiffany & Co.

Zara is slated to open in New Zealand in 2016 - Inditex

The Kiwi Property Group confirmed all three first-store openings for Auckland, which will take place later in the year with no specific dates as yet.

Zara and H&M are slated to open their first New Zealand stores at the Sylvia Park Mall. Kiwi Property will invest $11.5 million to accommodate the new Zara, located a new ground level in the mid-mall area of the shopping centre.

Meanwhile, Tiffany & Co. will open on the ground floor of Australis House in Auckland. The store will sell items by famous designer Paloma Picasso, as well as its regular collection.

Glen Schlehuber, Tiffany & Co.'s Australian vice president and managing director, said the new store hopes to bring a “new level of luxury jewellery to Auckland."

Auckland will be Tiffany’s first company-operated retail presence in New Zealand.
