Well established in the USA, Michael Kors is tackling Europe, a “logical step of our global expansion,” said CEO John D. Idol. In 2008 the label opened its first European boutique in Milan. This year it opened its first “lifestyle” store on the 28th of February in Munich at 36 Theatiner Strasse.

A showcase space of 500 metres squared plays host to the entire range of accessories (which represent 70% of sales globally) from the brand, as well as the off-the-peg collection Michael Michael Kors. Handbags, leather goods, shoes, glasses, watches, perfumes... Shoppers can find something for everything from head to toe.

In the USA the “lifestyle” network, which emphasises the Michael Michael Kors line and accessories, covers sixty stores.
