Interparfums has found its new head office. The French specialist in licensed perfumes (including Montblanc and Coach) has just acquired the building at number 10 on the rue de Solférino in Paris’ seventh arrondissement from the risk analysis specialist Apsys. The address used to house the former Socialist Party headquarters.

The 3,700 square-metre location, which is made up of three buildings connected by two interior corridors, will house all of the Interparfums teams by spring 2022. Until then, a large part of the team will be situated at the business’ current headquarters located on the roundabout of the Champs-Elysées in Paris.

The group has disclosed that the transaction amounts to €125 million ($150 million), of which €120 million will be financed by a 10-year bank loan.

“This move is an exceptional opportunity,” said Interparfums’ founders, Philippe Benacin and Jean Madar. “

This new head office will enable us to continue our development in an incomparable setting, at a prestigious address perfectly adapted for the quality of the brands in our portfolio.”

In 2020, impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic, Interparfums group reported a turnover of €367 million representing a 24.1% drop.
