India's Anita Dongre to hold Singapore trunk show

Designer Anita Dongre will hold a Festive Winter Trunk Show in Singapore on October 5 to debut her latest collection “Jaipur Love” in the country and showcase a range of fine jewellery.

This Saturday, Anita Dongre will hold a one-day pop-up shop at the Hilton Singapore in partnership with Melange by BuzzHour, the brand announced on Facebook. T

he “Trunk Show” will give Singapore’s shoppers their first chance to see Dongre’s Jaipur Love festive collection in person and will serve to expand the brand’s international customer base.

The Jaipur Love collection features bright red and pink hues and floral motifs inspired by Jaipur’s iconic aesthetics. Printed cottons create a bold get wearable statement and the collection also includes “winter velvets” in jewel tone hues such as dark green. Dongre also recently shot a campaign for the collection in Rajasthan. 

As well as festive wear, the pop-up will also feature silver and fine jewellery by Anita Dongre Pink City. The brand’s latest collection features handmade silver jewellery and handmade fine jewellery featuring uncut diamonds and precious stones. Dongre recently opened her first fine jewellery alcove inside her flagship store in Khar, Mumbai.

Anita Dongre launched her eponymous brand in 1995. Dongre has flagship stores for her various lines across India as well as two flagship stores in New York, US.
