June 5 - Cosmetics maker Revlon Inc said a fire on Sunday destroyed a substantial portion of its facility in Venezuela and it was evaluating the impact on its business in Latin America.

The facility was not operating on Sunday and no employees were on site during the fire, the company said in a statement.

The company's unit in Venezuela had sales of about 3 percent of its total sales in 2010.

Sales in Venezuela include locally manufactured products and imported products from the United States.
