Finalists named in CFDA + Lexus Fashion Initiative

The Council of Fashion Designers of America and Lexus have chosen the top 10 fashion brands for their first-ever CFDA + Lexus Fashion Initiative.

Finalists include Brother Vellies, WWAKE, Nicholas K, Dezso by Sara Beltran, TOME, K/LLER Collection, Prabal Gurung, SVILU, Erin Snow and Zero + Maria Cornejo.

The finalists will participate in a 17-month residency program starting next month, which will include field visits, workshops and mentorship. The brands will learn more about the social, environmental and financial challenges of working in the fashion industry, with a focus on problem-solving.

Three participants who have shown the greatest evolution throughout the residency will win $150,000, with two runner-ups receiving $50,000 each.
