Eco-Age appoints Simon Whitehouse as new CEO

Eco-Age, the sustainability and creative communications agency founded in 2008 by Livia Firth and her brother Nicola Giuggioli, has appointed Simon Whitehouse as its new CEO. Whitehouse is a very experienced manager in the fashion and digital marketing fields. He was formerly the CEO of creative agency Art Partner and of LVMH-owned label JW Anderson, after stints at Diesel and The Donna Karan Company. Following Whitehouse’s appointment, Nicola Giuggioli is assuming the role of president of Eco-Age Italia.

“I have been involved in the fashion world at the highest levels for a long time and from various unique vantage points, and its merits and shortcomings are very clear to me. We cannot deny nor ignore the negative impact [the fashion industry] has on our planet, and it is our moral obligation as human beings to reverse this impact as urgently and positively as possible,” said Whitehouse.
