Converse launches global headquarters in Boston

Converse has launched its new global headquarters in Boston at 160 North Washington, Massachusetts. Previously based in North Andover, Massachusetts, Nike's subsidiary has invested in a 10-storey building that covers almost 215,000 square feet.

Located on the banks of the Charles River, the building also houses a 3,500 square foot Converse store. This store, which is the second in Boston and the sixth in the United States, will feature a "Blank Canvas" area, where customers will be able to create their own custom Chuck Taylor All Star, from the fabric to the laces. 

Meanwhile, in July, Converse will open "Converse Rubber Tracks", a recording studio giving young artists the opportunity to record their music. Converse Rubber Tracks was originally launched in Brooklyn, New York, in July 2011.
