Colombian label Agua Bendita opens new store in Miami

Agua Bendita is celebrating three new store openings this month. On September 17, the Colombian swimwear and beachwear brand inaugurated a new store in Miami, in the Coconut Grove district. 

In addition to this large new retail presence in Florida, this month Agua Bendita opened its first store in the Colombian city of Ibagué, inside the Acqua shopping mall, and another store in the country’s capital Bogotá, in Calle de los Anticuarios, an area that is popular with luxury brands and local fashion labels. 

Agua Bendita currently operates more than 50 shops in South America, being present in Aruba, Mexico, Panama, Venezuela, Uruguay and Colombia, in addition to its extensive network of multibrand retailers and commercial partners in more than 40 countries. For the rest of the year, Agua Vendita is planning one or two more openings in Colombia, to round off its current retail expansion effort. 

At the end of September, the label will present the third collection of its Agua by Agua Bendita line in Paris, with the South American fashion labels’ showroom Sí Collective, at the Elephant Paname art centre. 

Agua Bendita did not disclose its revenue results, but reported a 42% increase in sales in 2018. For the current year, the Colombian brand is forecasting a revenue rise of at least 50%.
