Collection of fashion show ephemera goes on display in London during LFW

Iain R. Webb, the fashion writer and professor of fashion at the Royal College of Art, is the curator and collector behind a new exhibition that opened this week, in time for London Fashion Week, at Somerset House.

The exhibition, "Invitation Strictly Personal" showcases Webb's collection of fashion show ephemera, including show invitations, dating from the 1960's until today. Webb's sketchbook notes and newspaper reports from the front row will also go on display, highlighting iconic designers like Alexander McQueen, Thierry Mugler and Jean Paul Gaultier.

"Invitation Strictly Personal" opened on the 16th and coincides with the release of a book of the same name. It runs through March 22.
