Amber Rose unveils her new CBD-infused skincare line

Amber Rose is launching a CBD-infused, intimate skincare line.

The model, actress and activist has unveiled ‘MUVA Beauty,' a skincare series that aims to "set the standard for sensuality and relaxation within the beauty industry."

The line, which launches on November 29, focuses on "premium, organic, CBD-infused skincare products that elevate the intimacy that exists between you and your body; and also, between you and your partner," according to a press statement from the brand.

The debut collection includes a ‘Bath Dust' that combines the calming qualities of aromatherapy with a potent 200mg shot of cannabidiol extract, and a ‘Body Wash' made with probiotics, tea tree oil and flower extracts designed to keep pH at ideal levels. There is also a CBD-infused ‘Body Oil' designed for deep hydration and "body restorative powers," and an ‘Intimate Moisturizer' infused with broad-spectrum CBD and synergistic botanical, Ganoderma Mushroom and aromatic scents, which aims to boost comfort and pleasure while decreasing tension, discomfort and dryness.

"I've always taken control over my body, and I want to help others do the same," said Rose in a statement. "My goal with MUVA Beauty is to celebrate every inch of one's skin, while elevating our intimate experiences through a premium collection for all."

In tapping into the CBD beauty market, Rose becomes part of a growing industry trend. October saw American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. launch ‘MOOD,' a genderless wellness and personal care line that includes 100% hemp-derived CBD products for bath and body, while the fashion label Alice + Olivia teamed up with the high-end cannabis brand Kush Queen to create a series of personal care topical products that launched in September.
