Adidas Das Days skateboarding tour moves to NY

Adidas Das Days is heading to New York next month for a nine-day stop of its global skateboarding event tour. Das Days New York will offer immersive experiences designed to elevate the skateboarding scene in NY.

Das Days New York opens with a celebration of Adidas's new 3MC skateboarding shoe. A photo exhibition, skate jam, and concert headlined by The Beach Fossils are all part of the launch party.

The activation heads into the weekend with a block party where a skateboarding video featuring Adidas team riders Mark Gonzales and Tyshawn Jones will premiere. The events will include skate trivia, an art exhibit curated by Gonzales, and a progressive party that heads from Brooklyn to the Lower East Side.

In a statement, Adidas called Das Days a "hub for all creators to explore what Adidas skateboarding represents to them."

Das Days started in Los Angeles this spring as a global tour to promote Adidas skateboarding and build the community. Adidas skateboarding was founded in 1998 as a division of Adidas Originals. It makes apparel and footwear which is distributed through a global network of skate retailers.

Das Days New York has events scheduled from July 6th through July 14th. After New York, the tour will head to Paris and Shanghai this fall.
