Highsnobiety, founded in Berlin by David Fischer, said on Friday it had secured $8.5 million in funding, becoming the latest lifestyle startup to win backing from investors led by Frederic Court’s Felix Capital.
On 21 and 22 January the bi-annual fashion trade show Modefabriek will take place at Amsterdam Rai. The event will bring together 600 brands and host talks, fashions shows and other events for fashion professionals.

Amazon will launch a Windows-compatible PC app for its Alexa digital assistant that will directly compete with Microsoft's Cortana. The Alexa app will operate on HP, Lenovo, Asus and Acer Windows 10 laptops and desktops.
Primark has tapped a former Zara chief to head its womenswear division. Paula Dumont Lopez, who was named New Look’s new chief executive last year but never took up the role, will join Primark this month.
