Suistudio opens first Amsterdam store

Suitsupply’s sister label, Suistudio, has opened its first store in the Netherlands. Following a pop-up store at Amsterdam’s Van Eeghenstraat, the label has landed permanently at the city’s Cornelis Schuytstraat.

In May, Suitsupply announced the launch of its sister label and launched concept stores in New York City, Shanghai and Amsterdam, in addition to a web shop. In October the brand announced the continuance of the label as a chain with the opening of the New York City branch, and now, the permanent store in Amsterdam.

The 142 m2 Amsterdam shop is designed by Suitsupply’s Floor Enneking and features contrasting colors in bold graphic prints, a hint to the powerful and playful personality of the label.

Suistudio focuses on ‘power-suiting’, using Italian fabrics and tailor-made details, such as kissing buttons, AMF stitching and double- and single-breasted models. Exclusive to the Amsterdam store is the introduction of the Custom Made service. This service offers customers to choose from a variety of fabrics and fits to create the ideal suit. Custom Made suits are available in EU sizes 30-48 and retails from €359. The regular collection, which includes suits, jackets, trousers, skirts, coats, tops, dresses and jumpsuits is available in EU sizes 32-44.
