Pain de Sucre going after the US market

Pain de Sucre has ventured out into a new territory. The Marseilles-based swimwear label has added a new destination to its export strategy. It has recently signed up with a distributing agent in the USA, starting with the current season.

Pain de Sucre is already widely distributed internationally, with 600 retail outlets worldwide and several stores outside of France (London, Dubai, Hong Kong, Saint Barthélémy, etc.), and is now opening up to a market with strong potential in terms of swimwear.

To approach the US market, the brand has started by establishing a base in Miami, Florida, home to its distributor Finaben. Pain de Sucre is now available in a showroom there, and will also be on display at the Hammock Show event next July.

The brand's first retailers are expected to present its collections from this spring, even before the show. Pain de Sucre is already present in Central America, in Mexican department stores.
