Oger donates to Dress for Success

Dutch menswear label Oger announced that it made a donation worth of €300,000 in clothing to nonprofit organization, Dress for Success.

The donated items consist of suits designed and produced by Oger and include the brand’s signature Italian cut. The suits should help 2,000 jobseekers, who are unable to afford new clothing themselves, make a great impression during job interviews.

“2014 and 2015 were good years for us. Therefore we want to give back to society, even to people who are not our customers yet,” said Sander Lusink, brand director of Oger.

Oger, who is famous for its tailored suits, chose to donate to Dress for Success as both companies believe that dress plays a role in one's success.

“At a job interview or business meeting, the first impression is important, and that starts with your clothes. If you look good, you feel good, you have more confidence, which radiates. That in turn increases the chances of success. Oger clothing is good quality and fits perfectly.

Oger first opened its doors in 1989 at the P.C. Hooftstraat in Amsterdam. The menswear label was founded by Oger Lusink and produces its clothes in Italy. In addition to its own label, the store also carries Italian brands, such as Etro, Moncler and Santoni. Under the name Oger Corporate Fashion Statements the label also dresses corporations such as the soccer teams of AFC Ajax and Feyenoord.

The label has six branches in the Netherlands, including a franchise, an outlet and a store dedicated to womenswear (Oger Donna) and one store in Belgium.
