New York & Company opens its largest store in Chicago

Women's retailer New York & Company's largest store in the world has opened on State Street in downtown Chicago.

The two-level store sprawls across 18,000 square feet and includes celebrity collections from Eva Mendes and Gabrielle Union, as well as brands like 7th Avenue Design Studio, Soho Jeans, and Soho Street Collections. 

Further promoting the retailer's "Fit for Everyone" size-inclusivity initiative, the new flagship features a size range of XXS to XXL; including petite, average, tall and curvy fits. The store is also the debut home of the company's recently acquired plus-size brand, Fashion to Figure.

“We are so excited to be back on State Street after several years out of the Downtown Chicago market," CEO of New York & Company Greg Scott said. "We had over 30K loyal clients in our former State Street store and we can’t wait to serve them again! We see this as a huge opportunity for us as we continue to identify locations that we believe will be key to our growth and success."

In honor of the grand opening, the flagship hosted multiple in-store launch parties. New York & Company plans to schedule several special events in the new shop, from influencer styling experiences to celebrity meet-and-greets, in the coming months.
