During the first six months, net sales grew about 10% to reach $4.17 billion. Operating income amounted $421 million. The group see this increase despite network distribution re-adjustments by the company. At the end of July distribution covered 2969 shops compared to over 3000 last year.
Globalisation has started for Victoria's Secret, brand of Columbus, Ohio-based women's apparel retailer Limited brands, with its first 6 shops opening in Canada. Its first flagship store on the old continent is foreseen in London for 2012.
