The French capital's haute couture shows continued Tuesday, Janaury 24 with collection showcases from Chanel, Alexis Mabille, Vetements and Giorgio Armani Privé. Retro silhouettes, color, sparkle and glamor were seen alongside a few playful touches. Here's a look at some of the highlights from this third day of haute couture fashion week.

Alexis Mabille
Alexis Mabille brought contemporary princesses to the runway, wearing semi-transparent gowns that appeared to float around the models' bodies. With red, pink, blue, purple and yellow, the designer picked strong, bright colors for spring/summer 2017.

Julien Fournié
Julien Fournié's light, fluid dresses celebrate women in glamorous style. The looks brought a sensual, even sexy side to female silhouettes with asymmetrical and glamorous creations.

Vetements
A world away from princess gowns and sparkles, Vetements revealed a more accessible collection, with silhouettes that could work with all kinds of styles, body shapes and ages. The label also added some men's ensembles to its collection.

Giorgio Armani Privé
Orange -- the star color of the show -- was definitely the new black for Giorgio Armani, in a collection that played with volume and transparency, that also drew inspiration from the Orient.

Alexandre Vauthier
Mid-length dresses, sensual cutaways and asymmetric designs ramped up the glam in this ultra-sexy collection. Sensuality was taken to new heights in this spring/summer 2017 collection, subtly suggesting rather than revealing what's underneath.
