Denim Première Vision welcomes 4,131 visitors

Published

Having attracted 4,479 professionals for its first Catalan edition one year ago, the event for denim professionals welcomed 4,131 visitors in Barcelona from May 27-28.

73% of visitors were composed of international professionals from some sixty countries, an increase compared to an inaugural session that unsurprisingly saw Spanish visitors turn out en masse.

Turkey was the country with the second largest attendance, followed by Spain, with 12% of visitors. Italy (11%), France (6%) and the UK (6%) came next, while Germany, Portugal and Belgium were also strongly represented.

For French organizer Première Vision SA, the positive results confirmed Denim Première Vision as, "an essential meeting point and source of inspiration for denim industry players."

The event’s 16th edition, which previously took place in Paris, welcomed 97 exhibitors from twenty countries, including weavers (45%), manufacturers/launders/finishers (24%), accessory makers (21%), technology developers and promotional organizations (7%) and fiber producers and spinners (3%).

Denim Première Vision’s next edition will be held on November 18-19, once again at the Fira Montjuïc in Barcelona. But before then, the organizer will be holding its flagship event in September: Première Vision Paris.
