Blancpain: luxury watch brand opens store on Fifth Avenue

The Swiss luxury watch manufacturer has affirmed its international ambitions by opening its 29th store in the heart of Manhattan on Fifth Avenue between 50th and 51st streets.

At over 1700 square feet, the first Blancpain store on American soil features a unique interior décor that gives the nod to its hometown of Le Brassus, Switzerland. The cherry wood furniture and design of the windows draw their inspiration from the architecture of its workshops and master-watchmakers’ workbenches.

All of the brand’s timepieces - from Villeret to Fifty Fathoms as well as models developed exclusively for the boutiques - are on display in the store windows, and client can enjoy a 360-degree screening system.

The innovative system displays on the upper part of the walls news about the brand and its various commitments, including support of the scientific exploration of the oceans, the sponsorship of the World Ocean Summit as well partnerships with automobile companies such as Lamborghini.
