Actress Skai Jackson launches collection at Macy’s

Fifteen-year-old actress Skai Jackson is launching her own collection with Nowadays — a clothing brand and digital community for young girls — in Macy’s stores on October 15.

The limited-edition collection will feature everything from a ballerina-style skirt to cropped sweater and skirt sets, to smart collared shirts — prices have yet to be released, but it could be assumed that they will fall into the same budget-friendly range as other Macy’s apparel. 

Jackson is also known as a young philanthropist and influencer for young girls. She regularly shares her involvement with organizations such as No Kid Hungry and #BLACKGIRLSROCK via social media. It was the blend of her style and positive influence that prompted the union between Jackson, Nowadays and Macy’s. Furthermore, Macy’s can jump on the digital expertise of Nowadays to provide further exposure for the brand. Nowadays collections — created by popular style icons of the moment — are only available for a limited time.
